Privacy Policy of Bentral

This Privacy Policy explains how INTERSPLET d.o.o. (hereinafter “Bentral”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data.

2. Role of Bentral in Data Processing

Bentral acts in two roles, depending on the nature of the processing:

As a controller: For data relating to our users (customers), subscriptions, our own marketing, customer support and system security.
As a processor: For guest and reservation data entered or transferred into the Bentral system by our users (accommodation providers). In this case, our user is the data controller and we process the data exclusively in accordance with their instructions.

3. Personal Data We Process

3.1 Data of Bentral Users (Accommodation Providers)

We collect the data necessary to provide the Service:

First name and surname, email address and telephone number.
Data relating to the company/accommodation facility.
Subscription and payment data.
Communications with our support team.
Technical data (IP address, access logs).

3.2 Guest Data (in the Capacity of Processor)

On behalf of our users, we process data relating to their guests:

Basic data: First name, surname, nationality and gender.
Contact data: Email address, telephone number, residential address, place of birth and date of birth (where provided).
Reservation data: Arrival/departure dates, number of persons (adults, children and pets), reservation status and reserved services.
Registration data (eTurizem/AJPES, eVisitor): Date of birth, type and number of personal document, and issuing country (where the user uses the registration module).
Communications: Messages between the guest and the accommodation provider.
Invoices: Name of the partner/recipient, first name and surname, country; in the case of a company, its address, postal code, country and tax number, as well as information on whether it is liable for VAT.

All sub-processors are contractually required to protect data in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Transfers of Data Outside the EEA

If we transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we do so on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Retention Period

User data: We retain it for the duration of the subscription relationship and for 5 years after its termination, due to limitation periods and legal requirements.
Guest data: We retain it for as long as determined by the controller (the accommodation provider) or for as long as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Data Security

We use modern technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption of data transfers (TLS), restricting employee access and regular backups.

9. Rights of Data Subjects

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

Access and obtain a copy of your data.
Rectify inaccurate data.
Request erasure (the right to be forgotten), where permitted.
Restrict processing.
Object to processing.
Data portability.

Requests should be sent to [email protected]. If you are a guest of one of our users, please contact the accommodation provider (the controller) directly first.

11. Right to Lodge a Complaint

Effective date: This agreement enters into force on 21 September 2026 and applies to all active users of the Bentral Service.
